Italian manufacturer Multitel Pagliero says that it will unveil another three new models at Apex in addition to the three it has already launched this year.

The latest new model to be announced is the 25 metre MX250 on a 3.5 tonne chassis. The new lift, the largest MX model on a 3.5 tonne chassis, offers 25 metres of working height and up to 12.2 metres of working outreach.

Features included an inboard outrigger jacking envelope, while the full width jacking for maximum outreach keeps the front jacks in board while the rear ones extend to an overall width of 2.8 metres, with the option of keeping one side retracted.

The new lifts also offers 11 metres of outreach from two metres up to almost 20 metres.

Melvyn Else, managing director of Access Industries, Multitel’s UK distributor said: “This is best small (3.5 tonne) platform Multitel has introduced since I started working with the company in 1988. This level of outreach may be achieved by straight telescopic platforms mounted on a small chassis cab, but no one has ever achieved such performance from an up and over or articulated platform mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis. We see this platform as taking the self-drive 3.5 tonne sector to a new level.”
