BAR integrates with Platform Sales

UK based access rental company Bucks Access Rental – known as BAR, is changing its name to Platform Sales & Hire and relocating to a new site in Milton Keynes.

BAR was founded in 2005 by Simon Rush and was acquired by Platform Sales & Hire of Leighton Buzzard last May. The two businesses continued to operate separately in spite of their relatively close proximity.

The two operations will now come together in a new location in Central Milton Keynes. The BAR fleet has doubled in size in the 10 months since the takeover, with the latest additions being tracked spider type lifts and 14 metre compact narrow scissor lifts.
