LR1750 for Wiesbauer

South German based crane rental company Wiesbauer has taken delivery of a new 750 tonne Liebherr LR1750 crawler crane.

The company has purchased the 1750, with its variable boom system, with full main boom, derrick boom/back mast and luffing jib. It is targeting the crane at high capacity, high reach applications, including wind turbine installations up to 125 metres hub height and heavy dockside work.

Marco Wilhelm, member of the management board at Wiesbauer said: “Whether the crane is being erected and dismantled or whether it is in full operation, we can rely totally on the tried and trusted Liebherr crane concept. This heavy-duty crane combines optimum lifting capacity values, with the focus firmly on the needs of the client, with a very high degree of user-friendliness. And what also convinced us was the SLK boom system. This has been designed especially for the assembly of wind power systems, and it is extraordinarily well-designed with ease of transport in mind, while at the same time providing the lifting capacity needed for a wide range of installations.”
