DEET specialises in retrofit and modernisation

DEET Kft. has always been one of the pioneers in the mobile crane industry in Hungary. Since its founding in 1982, the company has been successfully involved in the leasing and rental of mobile cranes.

With the opening of the former Eastern block countries – in both the political and commercial sense – DEET reacted to the new market situation and extended its portfolio to include engineering solutions to match the needs of the day. One logistical milestone was the establishment of EMDIK, the first information centre for cranes in Hungary. Today, DEET is seen as the national specialist in the construction and development, as well as the repair, maintenance and updating of mobile cranes.

The engineers at DEET work to the maxim that they always carry out successful maintenance and repair when it comes to machine failure. This applies to all the components, in the case of mobile cranes particularly those which concern safety and security equipment. In this area, DEET seeks to focus on retrofit using the most modern components. The use of load moment indicators of the youngest generation from Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH is just one example of this policy.

DEET offers tailor-made solutions for the most individual customer requirements. Over and above this, there are always competent specialist personnel available for full maintenance and service operations. Processes to certify the company to EN and ISO standards have already been started. The eastern European mobile crane market is moving dynamically: there are very promising business opportunities awaiting DEET in the form of customers from neighbouring countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic, the Slovakian Republic, Rumania and the Ukraine, not to speak of Austria.
