Hirschmann boosts business in Turkey
Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH, branch office Ettlingen, Germany, is giving its business in Turkey a significant boost.
Together with its authorised dealer VinçMak Makina Sanayi Tic. Ltd. Sti. in Istanbul, Hirschmann is developing promising OEM activities, as well as continuing with its retrofit business, which has been enjoying success for many years now. The intensive partnership with Hidrokon Konya Hidrolik Makina Sanayi ve Tic. Ltd. Sti., the number one among Turkish crane manufacturers, is especially exciting.
iVISOR Mark4K with datalogger for Hidrokon telescopic cranes
Until recently, Hidrokon concentrated on manufacturing knuckle boom cranes, but now the company is focusing on producing standard telescopic cranes too. For this new product line, load moment indicators (LMIs) from Hirschmann’s iVISOR Mark4K series will be used. Twenty Hidrokon telescopic cranes have already been equipped with iVISOR Mark4K datalogger systems for the Syrian market.
iSCOUT mentor is put to the test
Customization has successfully been completed, enabling Hirschmann’s iSCOUT mentor systems to be deployed in new Hidrokon. HK 225 cranes. Every month until the end of this year, two of these systems will undergo tough practical tests. Hidrokon plans to equip all its large cranes with iSCOUT mentor systems in 2010.
