Howell Tractor and Equipment LLC, Gary, Indiana, provides machine sales and rental, as well as parts and service for the construction, industrial, paving, and aggregate industries. Howell Tractor has been distributing heavy construction, mining, and lifting equipment in the Midwest US since 1943.

The company is a Premier Dealer of Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH serving the state of Indiana. Howell Tractor carries Hirschmann’s entire line of PAT, Krueger, and Hirschmann branded load moment indicators, indicating devices, and sensors.

With five dedicated senior managers, each with over 25 years of crane sales and/or service experience, Howell Tractor has the know-how to get the job done. Howell Tractor offers all types of machines to meet just about any heavy equipment requirement including Hitachi Mining, Euclid, Kawasaki, Gehl, Moxy, Sennebogen, and most recently the complete line of Terex lifting equipment including Demag.
