North West Crane represents Hirschmann in Canada

Incorporated in 1993, North West Crane Ltd. (NWC) is a supplier of truck cranes, boom trucks / picker trucks, and related services to the crane industry in western Canada. NWC has facilities in Leduc and Grande Prairie, Alberta each providing service, repair, certification, and replacement parts for all makes and models of truck mounted cranes.

In addition to the business relationship with Hirschmann Automation and Control for the distribution of their brands Hirschmann and PAT, NWC is the exclusive dealer for Manitex, U.S.T.C., Pioneer, and JLG stiff-boom cranes, Ferrari and NWC folding-boom cranes, Skylift manbaskets, and Loglift timber loading cranes.

NWC has sales, service, and parts departments dedicated to responding to the needs of their customers. Their service personnel receive regular and ongoing training on the latest developments in boom truck technology. In-house and factory sponsored training sessions ensure that their personnel are ready and able to repair all machines from a simple leak to total crane rebuilding.

Jon Janssen, President of NWC, has been involved in the crane industry for over 20 years. Ivan Janssen, CEO (30 years), Don Kurjata (25 years), and Dave Friesen (15 years) round out the ownership group. Their years of experience and dedication to providing the very best in crane products coupled with unmatched after-sales service and parts support has made NWC one of the industry leaders in western Canada.
