Stephenson Equipment Inc. (SEI) is based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with seven locations throughout the states of Pennsylvania (PA) and New York (NY). SEI has been serving the crane industry since 1957. Representing manufacturers such as Manitowoc, Grove, National Crane, Shuttlelift, Manitex, Potain, Fassi, and Elliott High Reach, has provided the foundation for becoming a market leader in the lifting market.

As a Premier Dealer for Hirschmann Automation and Control, Inc., SEI provides a complete package of lifting solutions for the crane market. Hirschmann products are marketed through their extensive parts department and Special Crane Services Departments. The Special Crane Services Departments are comprised of a separate team of technicians that cater to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) inspections, di-electric testing, and CCO training (certification of crane operators) as well as certification for their customers in PA and NY. This provides the foundation for marketing Hirschmann products through this special service group that is in daily contact with the end user. This group is comprised of technicians that “sell” their services and products as it relates to the safety, training, and operator use for the crane industry.

By adding this menu of services and products, SEI can market a value added package that no other dealer can match. Providing equipment and operator solutions for their customers has been the foundation for the unprecedented growth at SEI.
