An “Ettlinger” breaks the 10 000 mark

Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH, Branch Office Ettlingen, October 2008: the 10 000th DAVS 314/0014 CAN is installed and CAN-configured, successfully passes the functions test and is calibrated. The production team which has been trained up for the task at Ettlingen since the beginning of production in April 2002 can chalk up this new record with pride: the DAVS 314/0014 CAN 2-fold pressure transducer 300 bar is seen in the industry to be “a genuine Ettlinger” and for years now has been one of the international best sellers in the Hirschmann family of pSENS DAVS CANopen multi-pressure transducers with 2 or 4 load cells. The largest market for the DAVS 314/0014 CAN products with about 94% is Hirschmann USA – and from there it goes for operational use worldwide.

Designed for tough environmental conditions

The DAVS 314/0014 CAN records high static and dynamic pressures in fluids or gases. Owing to the robust construction of the equipment, a very high level of precision in measurement is maintained even under conditions of continuous operation and powerful dynamic loads. The CANopen interface allows a simple integration of the pressure transducer in CANopen networks and simplifies the installation of the whole system. The preferred applications are its use as an integral component in Hirschmann load moment indication systems or Hirschman control systems in a crane’s hydraulic equipment. Because of its long-lived reliability under the toughest environmental conditions, the DAVS 314/0014 CAN also offers ideal solutions for control and regulating functions in the hydraulic equipment for construction machinery, transport and lifting systems.
