High-ranking guests from the fields of commerce and politics honoured the completion of the new works of Xuzhou Hirschmann Electronics Co., Ltd. located in the eastern Chinese economic metropolis Xuzhou. The joint venture between Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) and Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH has been in existence for more than 15 years and is now pursuing ambitious goals in the global market place for construction machinery electronics. After just one year of construction and an investment of 20 million Yuan, Xuzhou Hirschmann Electronics Co., Ltd. now has 22,000 square metres of space at its disposal. Over an area of 10,000 square metres the most modern production machinery for innovative and high-quality construction machinery electronics is in operation, including quality control stations as well as test and inspection operations. The company’s in-house R + D department ensures a direct transfer of technology within the facility.
Xuzhou, with a population of two million – the administrative area has a population of 10 million – is considered to be the centre of construction machinery production in China and forms the connecting link between the Asian and European regions. A most promising result of the successful cooperation between Asia and Europe gave rise to an occasion of which all can be proud: the official opening of the new works of Xuzhou Hirschmann Electronics Co., Ltd.
High-ranking personalities from the fields of politics and commerce
Invited guests of honour included the most important patrons of the project, an unusually active Sino-European community consisting of high-ranking personalities from the Xuzhou regional government and responsible decision-makers from the Xuzhou Economic Development Zone (XEDZ), as well as an almost complete management team from the joint-venture partners XCMG and well-known representatives from Hirschmann.
Master of Ceremonies for the whole affair was Mr. Wu Jiang Long, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Xuzhou Hirschmann Electronics Co., Ltd. and deputy CEO of XCMG. Mr. Wu Jiang Long conducted the guests through the most successful ceremony in a dignified fashion.
