In the spring of 1997, Randall G. Dickinson founded Crane Warning Systems Inc. with the aim of offering the market a technically competent team for selling, installing, and servicing safety systems for cranes. A few years later, Keith Laurel came on board as Deputy CEO. With good teamwork and excellent work on site, Crane Warning Systems Inc. built up an excellent reputation in the market, a reputation which rests largely on the high levels of reliability and competence in the installation of a wide range of safety systems and replacement parts for lifting equipment.
In 2002, Crane Warning Systems Inc. was appointed as a ‘Premier Distributor’ for Hirschmann Automation and Control.
When Gene Carlson came to the company, Crane Warning Systems was able to expand an already broad range of practical experience by adding the field of retrofit. With his technical know-how and excellent product knowledge, Gene Carlson was able to make a significant contribution in the further development of the company. There are seven employees working in the Crane Warning Systems team – technicians, customer advisors, sales assistants, and in the field of technical service. With high levels of competence and extraordinary commitment they cater for the needs of customers, both old and new.
In order to meet the ever-increasing demand for efficiency, monitoring, and control functions, even under the most extreme conditions on site, Crane Warning Systems supplies the market with the most modern technology and tried and tested products under the brand names Hirschmann, PAT and KRÜGER.
