FEM Congress in Cannes

From the 18th to the 20th September 2008 Cannes was the location for the 32nd FEM Congress. International leading manufacturers and suppliers from the field of transport, lifting, and warehouse equipment came together for an intensive exchange of views.
The climax of the congress was the two workshops running concurrently, dealing with the topics of commerce and technology, both so central to the industry. High quality speakers gave presentations on the subject of market opportunities in Eastern Europe and Russia as well as on the current and future state of affairs with CEN and ISO standards. The subsequent plenary sessions were conducted with passion and a lively level of commitment. The attractive framework programme rounded off the highly successful occasion. CISMA, the French National Committee of the FEM, was responsible for the perfect organisation of the event. The participants were able to undertake the journey home with some lasting favourable impressions packed away with their luggage, already eagerly looking forward to FEM 2010 in Istanbul.
