With its Scalable Mobile Control System Hirschmann is presenting for the first time a family of control equipment which can be employed both in cranes as well as in a wide range of other machines and installations. The system has been conceived for continuous operation under the toughest environmental conditions.
Flexibility and a good investment
The concept of the Scalable Mobile Control System is that of an innovative control solution which was developed especially for automisation functions in mobile equipment with specific reference to the new standard EN ISO 13849-1 and the new machinery guidance directive. The modular control system allows tailor-made hardware and software solutions not just in terms of the number and type of the E/As IP-protection level used, or its calculating performance but also in terms of its performance level (EN 13849-1) and SIL classification. As such, the system ensures that applications requirements are met to the highest degree. Because of the modular concept, new solutions can be developed as the demands grow – and always stay efficient and at optimal cost.
