Excon 2009: Successful exhibition for Hirschmann partner TIL Tractors India

For the first time TIL Tractors India – an important partner of Hirschmann - participated in Excon 2009, South Asia's largest trade fair on Construction Equipment & Construction Technology held between November 20 - 25 at Bangalore International Exhibition Center. The objective of TIL in association with global partners was to showcase their leadership in the material handling segment (MHS) as well as to present new products. TIL has always been at the forefront of the technology revolution introducing the most contemporary technologies to India.

The exhibition had a display area of over 1,500,000 square metres with over 450 exhibitors from India and an overwhelming participation from overseas. The event, held every two years, serves as an ideal platform to showcase India’s manufacturing excellence in the construction equipment industry.

The sprawling space of over 754 square metres taken by TIL showcased their flagship, the mobile Rough Terrain crane - RT880 -, one Potain Tower crane - Mci85A - in association with Manitowoc group, and models of Portable Double Barrel Asphalt Plant and Double Barrel Green System in association with Astec Inc. At a dedicated space Hirschmann displayed its innovative solutions in the field of mobile machine control systems.

The five day event saw a great number of footfalls - over 2000 - in the stall with many potential customers and new prospects showing interest in their products and services. Adequate product awareness coupled with a high number of leads were generated which is expected to result in future business.
