Another GSR for Antwerp
The City of Antwerp has taken delivery of a new 24 metre GSR E240PX articulated boom truck mounted lift.
The new unit is mounted on an Iveco Daily 50C14 with engine modified to take LPG (propane gas) fuel. This is the second GSR unit that the city has taken, the first being a 22 metre telescopic E220TJ delivered last year as part of a multiple GSR order placed with Benelux distributor Allift Michielsens.
The main raison that Antwerp City cited for choosing the E240PX, was its up and over reach capabilities and the ability to stabilise the machine within the overall width of the truck. The unit has been purchased specifically for duties inside the city centre, where the compact dimensions of the machine proved a great advantage.
