UK based Rapid Platforms has added a BilJax 45XA self-drive rough terrain articulated boom to its specialist access fleet. The company purchased the unit through Haulotte UK.

The lightweight machine which employs outriggers when elevated, offers a maximum working height of 15.6 metres with extremely low floor point loadings.

Its low ground bearing pressure makes it ideal for applications which involve crossing or working on lawns, landscaping and sensitive floors. Hydraulic outriggers with automatic leveling are standard.

Alistair Jordan, managing director of Rapid Platforms said: “The BilJax 45XA fits perfectly with our fleet. We are hiring it out to customers working on uneven or sloping ground and to those who work on lawns, at golf clubs and in parks.
