Bronto appoints Rothlehner


Bronto currently sells in Germany through its own operation Bronto Skylift Deutschland and will continue to serve specialist markets, such as the firefighting and emergency services directly.

Rothlehner already distributes GSR truck mounted lifts which dovetails nicely with the product range offered by Bronto. Other products in the Rothlehner stable include, World Lift - Denka//Falck Schmidt, Blue lift spider lifts and PB Liftechnik, in which it is a major shareholder.

In a statement Bronto said: “Rothlehner’s impressive track record but humble, down-to earth mentality combined with exceptional service has convinced Bronto to have found the optimum sales partner for Germany. We are happy to announce this cooperation.”

Vertikal Comment

Rothlehner is without question the best independent aerial lift distributor in Germany, and one of the few that truly provides a national coverage. Bronto has done well in Germany for some time, but this move should allow it to increase its market share against some formidable local producers while offering an improved product support service for its existing customers. 

For Rothlehner this move will broaden its truck mounted range, providing it with an excellent line-up from under 20 metres to 104 metres. All in all a good move for both parties.
