CTE unveils its unique new lift

Italian truck and spider lift manufacturer CTE has unveiled the radical new B -lift that has been kept covered up during the first three days of Bauma.

The new model the 20:13MP – Multi Purpose 20 metre truck mounted boom lift.
The new model is said to offer the advantages of both a telescopic and articulated lift.

The lift comprises two telescopic booms with a slew ring between them. The two section lower boom can remain in its horizontal stowed position while the upper boom is raised and slews through 360 degrees in a similar manner to a regular telescopic boom lift with a 13 metre working height.

The lift can rise to 13 metres without the need to set the outriggers, with the machine regulating the working envelope to match. To go higher the operator can set the outriggers from the elevated platform.

Alternatively the lower boom can be raised to the vertical position to proved the full 20 metres working height with almost nine metres up and over reach and almost nine metres of outreach.

The outriggers can be set fully retracted, extended on one side only or on both sides, with the machine adjusting the working envelope to match.
