Dinolift’s first tracked spider lift, the Dino 185XTC is now ‘in the iron’ and undergoing testing and demonstrations. The new model offers a maximum working height of 18.5 metres and up to 10.9 metres of outreach, albeit with just 80kgs in the platform. Maximum capacity is 215kgs, while the travel width is 1.15 metres. The 185 uses the heavy duty XT dual parallelogram linkage from the company’s wheeled self propelled model.
The boom is mounted to a compact tracked chassis with true spider outriggers which are capable of lifting the machine up to a metre off the ground, for excellent levelling capability on slopes or rough ground, but will also allow it to be self loaded onto a flat bed truck.
The working footprint is just under 3.5 metres wide, and the unit weighs in at 3,000kgs. Standard power is diesel giving 43 percent gradeability, while electric power is available as an option. Slew is 360 degrees continuous and the lift has a 1,300mm x 700mm basket with 90 degree each way rotation.
