H N Krane is already using a Liebherr 500-tonner for this type of work and in November will take delivery of another LTM 1500-8.1. The LTM 11200-9.1 will be used for the larger 2-3 MW turbine installations which are mounted on towers more than 100 metres high. Other areas of operation for the LTM 11200-9.1 include assembly work and handling heavy loads in ports and harbours. H N Krane was formed in 1993 and has a fleet of 30 mobile cranes with load capacities from 30 to 1200 tonnes, and about 30 heavy haulage transport units.
