WirtschaftsBlatt, the Austrian financial newspaper, in conjunction with international accountants PWC (Price Waterhouse Coopers) Austria and credit rating agency KSV1870 have announced their annual ALC ratings, listing Austria’s Leading Companies in terms of on-going financial performance and credit worthiness.

As in the past the 2010 rankings are made up of three key criteria, Growth, profitability and Liquidity, this year, Austrian crane and access rental company Prangl came in third for the region of the Lower Austria and 14th overall.

A spokesman for the company said: “This is a clear reflection of the family-owned company’s focus on sustainability, stability and continuity. We won our first ranking in the Lower Austria table as long ago as 2000, so this is no short term wonder”
