RandB appoints LTECH

Japanese spider crane manufacturer R&B has appointed access sales and rental company LTECH as its exclusive distributor in Russia.

The company will market the R&B crane line in Russia under the 'Mighty Crane' brand. The agreement will run for an initial period of five years, kicking off

as soon as the Russian GOST R certification has been attained.

The contract was signed recently in Tokyo and will initially cover four models, the CR174G, CR235G, CR285D and CR335D. L-Tech says that R&B will shortly introduce a new larger model CR405 with four tonne maximum capacity.

The first delivery of cranes is due to arrive in the next few weeks.

LTECH, which has previously offered Meada spider and mini cranes, offers a sales and rental of aerial lifts, telehandlers and mini cranes throughout Russia and is also the Snorkel dealer.

R&B is keen to follow the lead of Maeda and Unic in Europe and recently obtained CE certification for two models in its range. It is now looking to add distributors.
