Riwal confirms UK details


Riwal, the Dutch based international powered access specialist has confirmed details of its new UK operation- Riwal UK. 



The company has appointed Les Warren as general manager, Tim White as sales and commercial manager and Dave Freebody as operations manager.



Riwal says that the three men, “with a combined experience of over fifty years in the access industry, identified the need for a customer-focused company, offering premium quality equipment allied to high levels of service and reliability to fill the gap in the UK market.” 


The three approached Riwal with the proposal to establish a UK operation earlier this year and following the initial meetings a local company was registered on June 1st. 

In the last couple of weeks the first machines have been shipped from Riwal’s Dordrecht headquarters to the new company’s location in Chelveston, Northamptonshire.

As already reported on Vertikal.Net, the core focus of the business will initially be at the larger end of the market - booms with working heights of over 26 metres and scissors of over 20 metres. The company will though be able to offer a full range of products from the groups fleet, which ranges from five metre scissor lifts to the world’s largest 103 metre Wumag truck mounted lift, which has already completed its first UK contract.
