Chinese crane manufacturer Sany Heavy Equipment has unveiled its largest All Terrain telescopic crane to date a nine axle 1,000 tonner. The crane was shown to a small group of employees and dignitaries yesterday after it rolled off of the production line.
A reader has sent us a few photos taken with a mobile phone which will give an impression of the new crane.
At first glance it has some similarities to Liebherr’s flagship the LTM11200-9.1 with a nine axle carrier and a similar swing out outrigger design. The main boom will be removed for road travel and will have a length of around 100 metres.
For now that’s all we have, expect to see it on display at Bauma in late April.
