Spider appoints new branch managers

Spider, the suspended access division of SafeWorks has appointed Joe Simone as operations manager for its New York location, responsible for all branch operations in the New York region.

Prior to joining Spider, Simone spent 15 years with Union Beer Distributors in Brooklyn, New York, most recently as warehouse operations manager.

The company has also hired Eric Valentine as operations manager for its Las Vegas location, responsible the territory covering Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and southern Utah.

Valentine was most recently sales manager at Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, providing scaffolding, insulation, refractory, and coatings to the refining and power industries. Prior to joining Brand he was supervisor/sales for Thyssenkrupp Safway.
